The Osun All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun has lauded the impressive political, social and economic awareness of the Ijesa people as he disclosed that the Ijesa people hold an important place in the APC, the ruling party in Osun State.
He made the declaration at the official launching of Falex Foundation founded by Dr. Tunde Faleye, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Osun State Investment Company Limited on Sunday, 28th February, 2021 at the Oba Adekunle Aromolaran Civic Centre, Ereja, Ilesa.
At the event, Dr. Faleye unveiled the social impact that the Foundation that is rooted in the APC has targeted at various categories of youth, women and the aged in the areas of philanthropy and social impact investing in Ilesa East Local Government and Ijesaland in general.
"There's no government anywhere in the world that can satisfy the need of the people completely." Faleye declared.
He also disclosed that the Foundation recently embarked on grading of over 5000 kilometers of roads within Ijesaland.
He explained the motif behind the founding of the Foundation.
Eulogizing the achievements of the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, the Foundation founder sent a warning message to the governor's denigrators while emphasizing that a winning team should not be changed as he led the members of the Foundation to endorse the governor for a second term in office.

Also, under the Foundation's Youth and Female Entrepreneurship Skill Acquisition Program, Mrs. Victoria Oluwaseun of the One Community, One Industry fame made presentation of the skills available for chosen beneficiaries to be supported by the Foundation.
At the occasion Hon. Bode Olanipekun Commissioner for Commerce represented Governor Gboyega Oyetola while Alhaji Moroof Ibrahim represented the Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi.
Also in attendance were Leader Kunle Odeyemi, Hon. L. B. Ayeni, Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, Mr.Dosu Gidigbi, Hon. (Otunba) Akeem Adesoji Olowoopejobori, Chief Dayo Adewole, traditional rulers and many APC supporters and admirers.
