To commemorate the third Ijesa Forum founding vision and to celebrate the Easter festive mood, the members of the forum had a get-together dance at the Owa Obokun Adimula Civic Centre in Ilesa on Saturday 3rd April, 2021.
The Ijesa Forum with committed members from academia, government and private sector is involved in different activities in the city of Ilesa.
The Chairman of the forum, Chief Akin Akinola the Sawe of Ilesa in his speech explored the successes recorded in collaboration with the Roots Club of Ilesa and the Felate Club while giving reason to look back and reflect and also to celebrate and look forward.
He referred to the just completed Owa Obokun Adimula Palace and the planned Ilesa Geriatric Rehabilitation Centre that will cost five hundred million Naira to complete and hopefully to be delivered this year. He also lauded Oba Adekunle Aromolaran CFR LLD, for singlehandedly constructing the Civic Centre named after the kabiyesi.
The Owa Obokun Adimula, the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran CFR, LLD seized the occasion to appreciate God for the progress so far recorded in Ijesaland as he showered encomium on the Ijesa sons and daughters for the completion of the Owa Obokun Adimula Palace in record time.

Another highlight of Saturday's get-together was the introduction of new members of the forum to the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland and special appreciation of the 3rd Ijesa Forum Day planning committee members headed by Lady Dupe Ajayi Gbadebo.
Ijesa Forum members are: chief Akin Akinola, Chairman, Prof. Olu Odeyemi, Vice Chairman I, Prof. Olu Rotimi Tayo, Vice Chairman II, Hon. Dosu Babatunde, General Secretary, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, Treasurer, Hon. Gbenga Onigbogi, Financial Secretary.
Other members are; HRH Adedoyin Adelekun, Chief Olu Falomo, Pro. Ademola Ariyo, Prof. Dolapo Lufadeju, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, Mr. Wale Idowu, Dr. Oladimeji Alo, Lady Dupe Ajayi Gbadebo, Barr. Femi Osobu, HRM Adetayo Haastrup, Chief Afolabi Igbaroola, Dr. Wale Bolorunduro, engr. Yemi Oguntominiyi, Chief Muyiwa Akinbolagbe, Prof. Isaac Adewole, Dr. Akin Moses, mrs. New members that were introduced included, Engr. Olabode Esho, Engr. Ayoola Odeyemi, Dr. Charles Akindiji Akinola, Prof. Koawole Kazeem, Chief Oalekan Komolafe, Mr. Gbenga Lufadeju and Mr. Akin Ajayi-Obe.
