The 10 kilometer OSBC-MAC JAY MARATHON RACE organized by the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation in honor of the Osun State Governor Mr Adegboyega Oyetola will commence tomorrow by 7am at the November 27th. Intersection Bridge.
A release by the organizing committee says the event has major implications for residents of some of the locations that will be affected along the dedicated routes for tomorrow's marathon race.
The release advises commuters to avoid areas such as Osun State House of Assembly junction through Ataoja School of Science, Zarah Guest House, Olosan junction, LG Showroom, Ayinke Towers opposite First Bank PLC between the hour of 7am to 9am tomorrow.
According to the release, others are Girls School Junction, Jaleyemi Junction, Isale-Aro junction, Gbaemu Junction, Oja Oba, through Oke Baale up to OSBC Premises along Ibokun Rd in Osogbo as the finishing point.
It adds that there will be partial road block from the November 27 bridge to the Ayinke Towers while commuting will be restricted to only one side of the dual carriage road.
The release indicates that there will be total road block from Ayinke Towers opposite First Bank PLC through Gbaemu junction down to OSBC Premises by law enforcement agents who would be on ground to maintain law and order.
The committee however appealed to all the people and residents of Osogbo especially those along the affected routes to bear with every inconvenience and to seek the support of all for the athletes who are visiting the state for this special event.
The OSBC-MAC JAY MARATHON RACE which is shecduled to take place only within the hour of 7am to 9am tomorrow will be broadcast live on OSBC TV, Radio and online channels for all to view.
