APC CONVENTION: Famurewa wants APC respected for entrenching internal democracy.... Congratulates all new party executives.... Eulogizes Oyetola for ensuring Omisore's emergence

It has been observed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a party with people of like minds who value internal democracy.

A chieftain of the APC in Osun State and the Executive Chairman, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Honourable Israel Ajibola Famurewa, stated this in a statement he personally signed sequel to the just concluded National Convention of the party.

Honourable Famurewa said for a big ruling party like the APC in a prominent country like Nigeria to manage it's internal affairs as displayed at the convention is a pointer to the fact that the party should be respected for entrenching internal democracy.

He congratulated the new executives of the party, singling out the New National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore and the Southwest Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ayo Afolabi saying it is no mere feat for both to emerge for the respected posts.

The Osun SUBEB Boss expressed confidence in the ability of Senator Iyiola Omisore and Mr Ayo Afolabi to deliver as expected of them in the discharge of their duties as the National Secretary and SouthWest Publicity Secretary of the party, saying the duo's wealth of experience in the political field will stand them out.

Honourable Famurewa eulogised Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for the yeoman job of ensuring that Senator Omisore emerges, adding that the Governor has once again displayed that he is a silent achiever.

He congratulated all party members for the success of the convention and urged them to replicate the gesture in the forthcoming elections, particularly Osun and Ekiti Governorship poll this year and the General Elections next year.
