Unidentified robbers broke into the Ikirun, country home of Mr. Lani Baderinwa, former Commissionner for Information under the second term administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the Secretary of the disbanded The Osun Progressives (TOP).
Making a post on his Facebook timeline, Lani narrated how the thieves had plenty of time on Friday to operate as there was nobody in the house located in the relatively low density populated area of Federal Government Housing Estate on Ikirun-Osogbo Road.
The marauders had snuck inside the house by cutting the window at the back of his wife's room.
"I arrived home at about 7.45pm to find out that the space occupied by the TV in the sitting room was empty. Then I sauntered into my room only to find it dishevelled and rancorous. I knew something unusual had happened. The TV space in my room was empty too. I did a scan run through the rooms, the kitchen, the store and everywhere was in shambles. " He explained
The case has been reported with the police but the victim complained in his post that the police offered no serious help, made no visit to the scene of the incident.
