"Ijesaland is a Christian land and while we do custom we should not go back into paganism." The Diocesan Bishop of Ilesa Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Prof. Dapo Folorunso Asaju pronounced this warning at the concluding session of the 21 Days fasting and prayer of the Christian Mothers of the Diocese. The program formed part of the ongoing Jesus Celebration festival that was moved from Adimula Palace Square Ereja Ilesa to the open field of St. Margaret's Girls Secondary school, Okeoye Ilesa because of the customary consecration and fortification rites of the new Owa Obokun Adimula and the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Akorede, Ajimoko III.

One would recall that the mandatory seclusion exercises for Owa Obokun Adimula of IJESALAND is been strictly observed by Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko 111, according to tradition and culture of IJESALAND since his confirmation as the Paramount Ruler.
Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup has since visited shrines and historical sanctuaries of Igbadae, Ipole-Ijesa, Ilowa, Ijebujesa, Ibokun and on Tuesday night he arrived Ilemo quarters of High Chief Lemodu to seek for wisdom, strength and protection on the Throne.
On Wednesday, businesses stood standstill in and around Ereja square as the popular Atakumosa market was shut and all shops around the vicinity closed as Kabiyesi Ajimoko III moved from Lemodu quarters to Bajimo House, Erungeru, Ile Obokun, Ile Osanyin, Ile Adodo or Ajorijo and Ile Orisa before going to Ile Ogboni quarters.
Thus, Jesus Celebration festival an annual revival and prayer packed program organized by the Ilesa Diocese Anglican Communion that has entered its 12th day was relocated from "Ojude Oba" Palace Square to St. Margaret's Girls Secondary school Okeoye.
