Foundation to be launched in honour of late Ijesaland monarch






The family of late Oba Titus Folorunso Adewale, Ajemba of Ijemba, Atakumosa East local government, Osun State has announced the official launch of a foundation named after the late monarch.


Oba Adewale who died on 16th October 1989 and reigned as Ajemba of Ijemba for 19 years, was a revered Ijesaland traditional ruler, farmer and businessman known for his generosity and deep-rooted commitment to his community.



In a statement made available to KAKAKIOODUA, the official launching will take place at H139A, Iroye Street, Ilesa, Osun State on Saturday 25th January, 2025, when Ayantade Ipadeola will be the guest speaker and a newly constructed hall, the Ofokutu Royal Hall shall equally be unveiled.


The Titus Folorunso Foundation, a new non-governmental organization established to perpetuate the legacy of the late Ajemba of Ijemba will train hundreds of youth  by sponsoring their education through grants and scholarships and provide for widows, orphans and other vulnerable Ijesaland indigents.



The family stressed that the foundation aims to address critical health and educational challenges across Ijesaland through strategic programmes and projects.


Also, at the launching of the new Foundation that will take place on Saturday Iroye Community borehole water fetching point will equally be unveiled.
