A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) has sparked online debate after spiritual leader Satguru Maharaj Ji accused prominent Nigerian figures, including former Nasir El-Rufai, former Attorney-General Abubakar Malami, former Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, and Islamic cleric Ahmad Gumi, of sponsoring banditry in the country.

In the clip, Satguru Maharaj Ji claims that once these individuals are arrested and investigated, banditry in Nigeria would come to an end.
