ICPC Traces Six Real Estate Properties in Egypt to Former Kaduna Governor El-Rufai

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has reportedly traced six high-value real estate properties in Egypt to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

According to reports by TheCable, the properties were uncovered during an ongoing investigation by the anti-graft agency into El-Rufai’s tenure as governor of Kaduna State.

The discovered assets are said to include three luxury villas and three apartments located in upscale neighbourhoods in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.

Preliminary checks indicate that some of the villas are situated within the exclusive Arabilla Estate and Banafsik Estate in New Cairo, where luxury homes are reportedly sold for between $1 million and $1.3 million.

In addition, the apartments are said to be located in the high-end Cairo Festival City area, where each unit is estimated to cost about $500,000.

The properties were allegedly identified as part of ICPC’s broader probe into financial activities during El-Rufai’s administration as governor.

However, further details about the ownership structure of the properties and the stage of the investigation have not yet been officially disclosed by the commission.
