A public affairs advocate and convener of the Think Tank on Nigeria (TTON), Engr. Dideolu Falobi, has congratulated Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a pivotal figure in Nigeria’s democratic journey.
In a tribute released on Sunday, Falobi said his support for the President has always been based on conviction, citing Tinubu’s understanding of business, political acumen, and capacity to build and empower competent teams.
He noted that the President’s rise from the pro-democracy struggles of the 1990s to the nation’s highest office reflects resilience, courage, and strategic depth.
Falobi, however, stressed that leadership at the national level requires more than political expertise, calling for decisive actions that will drive meaningful transformation across key sectors.
According to him, his support for the President has also involved constructive engagement, including the provision of policy ideas in areas such as industrialisation, power, education, agriculture, and institutional reforms.
While acknowledging the magnitude of the challenges facing the country, Falobi expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to navigate the current realities, urging the administration to fully deploy its strengths in delivering tangible results.
He further observed that ongoing reforms by the administration are beginning to lay the foundation for long-term stability, although significant work still lies ahead.
“At 74, President Tinubu represents endurance and possibility. The true measure of his legacy will be in translating the promise of Renewed Hope into real improvements in the lives of Nigerians,” Falobi stated.
He concluded by wishing the President a happy birthday and continued strength in service to the nation.

I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating the 74th birthday of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a central figure in Nigeria’s democratic evolution.
My support for Asiwaju has always been rooted in conviction—his deep understanding of business, mastery of politics, capacity for hard work, and ability to build and empower capable teams. His journey from the pro-democracy struggles of the 1990s to the Presidency reflects strategic depth, resilience, and uncommon courage.
However, leadership at this level demands more than political skill; it requires decisive national transformation. This is why my support has also been accompanied by constructive engagement—offering ideas on industrialisation, power, education, agriculture, and institutional reform to help translate vision into results.
There is no doubt that the challenges are immense. Yet, I remain persuaded that he possesses the vision and courage required for this moment. The task now is to deploy these strengths fully and consistently in addressing Nigeria’s realities.
Encouragingly, ongoing reforms are laying foundations for long-term stability, even as much work remains to be done.
At 74, Asiwaju stands as a symbol of endurance and possibility. The ultimate test of his legacy lies in ensuring that the promise of Renewed Hope becomes a lived reality for all Nigerians.
