Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe has formally accepted his appointment as the Director General of the AMBO Campaign Organization in Osun East, expressing gratitude to party leaders and vowing to deliver electoral victory.
In an acceptance message made available to the press, Ogungbangbe described his appointment as a great honour and a call to higher service, pledging to justify the confidence reposed in him through dedication, strategic leadership, and loyalty to the party.
He extended appreciation to former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, for his leadership and commitment to the party’s progressive ideals. He also thanked the party’s candidate, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, for entrusting him with the critical role at a pivotal moment in the political process.
Ogungbangbe further acknowledged the contributions and support of elder statesman Bisi Akande, alongside other party leaders, including the State Working Committee led by Chairman Tajudeen Lawal.
Describing the task ahead as demanding, the newly appointed DG emphasized the need for strategic coordination, disciplined mobilization, and effective grassroots engagement to ensure success at the polls. He assured party members of his readiness to consolidate party structures, strengthen unity, and drive a results-oriented campaign.
“Our objective is clear: to secure a resounding and unquestionable victory,” he stated, adding that the campaign would focus on inclusiveness, issue-based engagement, and people-oriented strategies that align with the aspirations of the electorate.
Ogungbangbe pledged to work collaboratively with stakeholders, energize the party’s base, and expand outreach to undecided voters through credible and performance-driven messaging.
He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to repositioning the campaign organization for maximum effectiveness and setting a new standard in political mobilization and discipline.
