Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Atakunmosa East and West Local Government Areas have unanimously endorsed Babatunde Festus Komolafe (BFK) as the party’s consensus candidate for the State House of Assembly.
The decision was reached at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the residence of apex leader, Elder Oni, with party leaders citing Komolafe’s experience, past performance, and grassroots support as key reasons for his adoption.
Osun APC Treasurer, Femi Kujembola, commended the peaceful and united process, while Atakunmosa West leader, Disu Salotun, praised the spirit of cooperation between both local governments.
In his acceptance, Komolafe thanked leaders for their support, pledged fair representation, and called for unity ahead of the elections. He also urged members to back the party’s governorship candidate, AMBO, in the August 15, 2026 poll.
