Prince (Dr.) Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe has officially obtained his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest the Osun East Senatorial seat, signaling his formal entry into the race ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Speaking shortly after completing the process, Ogungbangbe said his ambition is driven by a desire to reposition the district through impactful and responsive lawmaking. He outlined key priorities of his proposed legislative agenda, including policies aimed at stimulating economic growth, strengthening the healthcare system, and expanding opportunities for young people across the constituency.
The senatorial aspirant also stressed the importance of advancing digital literacy in Osun East, noting that embracing technology is essential for sustainable development in an increasingly digital global economy.
He further identified social security reforms as a central focus of his agenda, with plans to introduce measures that will improve the welfare of vulnerable groups and promote inclusive governance.
