Osun APC Campaign DG Visits Owa Haastrup, Seeks Royal Blessings Ahead of Governorship Poll (PHOTOS)






‎The Campaign Director-General of the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, has led members of the party’s campaign team and supporters on a courtesy visit to the palace of the Owa Adimula of Ijesaland, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, as part of preparations for the forthcoming governorship election.

‎The visit, which attracted key party stakeholders and loyalists, forms part of the APC’s ongoing grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the August 15 gubernatorial poll in the state. The delegation was received at the palace, where discussions focused on peace, development, and the need for credible leadership.

‎Addressing the monarch, Hon. Oluwole Oke reiterated the party’s commitment to delivering good governance and sustainable development if voted into power. He also appealed for royal blessings and support, noting the critical role traditional institutions play in promoting unity and stability.

‎In his remarks, Oba Haastrup commended the delegation for the visit and called on political actors to conduct their campaigns in a peaceful and responsible manner. He stressed the importance of prioritizing the welfare of the people and maintaining harmony before, during, and after the election.
