Osun APC Media Cluster Gets New Leadership, Fagbohungbe Emerges Coordinator

The Osun APC Media Cluster, the new media arm of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has announced a new leadership team.

Funsho Fagbohungbe, popularly known as GFOD and a former Senior Special Assistant to former Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, has emerged as the new Coordinator of the group.

He takes over from Elder Adebayo Adedeji, popularly known as Instinct, who led the group for four years, from 2022 to 2026.

The change in leadership followed the end of Adedeji’s tenure and marks the beginning of a new phase for the media group.

The Osun APC Media Cluster is made up of young and active APC members who use social media platforms to promote the party’s programmes, activities and messages across the state.

Other members of the new executive are Ajibola Oluwasegun from Ife East LGA, Deputy Coordinator; Tijani Abdullahi from Irepodun LGA, Financial Secretary; Oyedele Lima from Boluwaduro LGA, Assistant Secretary; and Hon. Taofeeq Abiodun from Odo-Otin LGA, Organising Secretary.

Others include Aishat Adebayo from Ede North LGA, Welfare Director; Ummuh Bowade Nafisat from Olorunda LGA, Assistant Welfare Director; Omogboye Matthew from Obokun LGA, Assistant Publicity Secretary; Hon. Lasore Oladimeji from Ilesa East LGA, Director of Administration; and Excellency Mayowa from Ife East LGA, Deputy Organising Secretary.

Kabir Adewale from Irewole LGA is the Party Relations Affairs officer, while Tayo Oyediran from Ola-Oluwa LGA is the Publicity Secretary.

Miftau Adebowale from Ejigbo LGA emerged as the Secretary of the group.

The wide spread of members across different local government areas is expected to help the group reach more APC members and supporters across Osun State.

In a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary, Tayo Oyediran, the new Coordinator thanked members of the cluster for trusting him and the new executive.

Fagbohungbe promised that the new leadership would work to promote unity, inclusion and better performance within the group.

He described the change as the start of a new chapter, saying, “It is a new dawn of progress, development and unity for the group.”

The new Coordinator also praised the outgoing Coordinator, Elder Adebayo Adedeji, for his leadership and commitment during his four years in office.

He said Adedeji played an important role in building the group and increasing its visibility across Osun State.

The new executive is expected to continue from where the former leadership stopped while bringing new ideas to improve digital communication, mobilisation and engagement for the APC in Osun State.
