OSHA Commiserates With NYSC On The Death Of Corper Ayomikun






The Speaker pf the State of Osun House of Assembly was yesterday, Tuesday 9th July, 2019, joined by other honourable members at the NYSC State Coordinator's office to sign a condolence register in honour of deceased Juliana Ayomikun a corp member whose Primary Place of Assignment was the Technical Department of the Osun Assembly.

Rt. Hon. Owoeye seized the opportunity of the visit to commiserate with the State of Osun NYSC directorate, her family and friends for the great loss as he prayed that the Almighty God will give them the fortitude to bear the loss.

He also appealed to all necessary agencies of the government like the National Orientation Agency (NOA), to continue to sensitise and to orientate members of the public in our local community on the usage of disinfectants and pesticides that can have direct contact on human body while noting that late Ayomikun Julianna died after applying "Sniper" a pesticide, to kill the lice on her hair when she was advised to apply sniper as an antidote.



The strong delegation of the OSHA led by the Speaker which included the Deputy Speaker Hon. Olufemi Popoola, Hon. Marouf Olarewaju the Majority Leader, Hon. Kunle Akande the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Nasir Olateju the Central Senatorial Whip, Hon. Babatunde Ibirogba the West Senatorial Whip, Hon. Mulikat Abiola-Jimoh, Hon. Adeyemi Adewumi, Hon. Benjamin Ogundipe, Hon. Taiwo Adebusola, Hon. Olajide Adeyeye, Hon. Desmond Ojo, Hon. Elizabeth Abioye, Hon. Hadirullahi Adegbile, Mr. S. Akinwale the clerk of the House and Mr. Laide Lawal the Director of Information and Publicity was received by Mr. Adegoke Ayodele Adewale, the State of Osun NYSC coordinator.

In a related development the OSHA has also condoled the traders and market women and men of Oja Titun in Ile-Ife on the inferno that gutted their wares. The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye mentioned this at the Tuesday plenary where he condoled with the Oonirisha Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi over the incident. He also called on concerned government agencies such as NEMA and OSEMA to provide necessary succour and support for the affected traders. .
