Osogbo, the Osun State capital, witnessed a large turnout on Tuesday as members of the Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) held a solidarity rally tagged “Walk for Bola Oyebamiji and Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
The event attracted supporters from different parts of the state, who converged on major streets including Olaiya Junction, Alekuwodo, and Oke-Fia, in a peaceful procession expressing support for both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Bola Oyebamiji, a notable political figure in Osun.
Organizers of the walk said the event was designed to promote unity among supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to reaffirm their commitment to the principles of progressive governance.
In his remarks, one of the coordinators described the walk as “a show of solidarity and renewed faith in purposeful leadership,” noting that the turnout demonstrated continued grassroots engagement within the party.
The rally, which featured participants in branded shirts and banners, drew the attention of residents and commuters across the city. Security personnel were deployed along the routes to ensure smooth movement and maintain order throughout the exercise.
