Appeal Court : Osun PDP Leaders Abandon Adeleke

The leaders of the Osun Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), appear to have abandoned Governor Ademola Adeleke to his fate.

At the appeal court this morning, in Abuja, only the PDP Chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle, was seen in the court premises.

At a period  when the seat reserved for PDP leaders appeared empty, two of the governor's media aides who were initially at a far back seat were immediately drafted to sit with the chairman on the side reserved for PDP leaders and elders.

This development, despite being in power, is a strong indication that PDP leaders might have lost faith in the case against the practice at the Tribunal where they usually crowded the court during procedings in Osogbo.

However, APC leaders, led by their chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal came in their numbers.

Other APC leaders in attendance include the state Secretary of the Party, Alhaji Kamoru Alao, the party Treasurer, Femi Ikujembola, Women Leader, Alhaja Kudirat Fakokude and Youth Leader, Goke Adewemimo.

Many former commissioners in the cabinet of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, like Adebayo Adeleke (Banik), Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji and Dr Bode Olanipekun, were also in attendance to give moral support to the party's legal team.
