The Chairman, Secretary, members, and Community Relations Officers (CROs) of the Ilesa East Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), appointed by former Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, have paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Lanre Balogun, the Executive Chairman of Ilesa East Local Government.
The visit, which took place on Tuesday, 27th January, 2026, at the Iyemogun Secretariat of the local government was aimed at strengthening cooperation and fostering cordial working relationships between the LGEA and the local government administration in the area of basic education management.
Members of the delegation included Hon Falade idowu LGEA Board chairman; Mr Okunola O. Amos Board Secretary; Mrs Ajayi Grace, Member LGEA; Mr sanmi Oke Member LGEA; Mr Ogunsanmi Adeyemi, Member LGEA; Mr Olowe Olabode Member LGEA and Mr Ilesanmi Sunday Member LGEA.
During the visit, the LGEA officials reaffirmed their commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that would enhance the quality of primary education in Ilesa East Local Government. They also emphasized the importance of collaboration with the local government leadership to ensure effective administration of educational programmes.
The Executive Chairman of Ilesa East Local Government welcomed the delegation and commended their dedication to the development of education in the area, assuring them of the council’s readiness to work closely with relevant stakeholders to improve learning outcomes at the grassroots level.
Also present at the event were Hon. Mrs. Kofo Omole, the Vice Chairperson and Hon. Johnson Komolafe, the Local Government Secretary, Hon Omotoye Idowu E. A. to the chairman and Mr Wahab .O. Ibrahim, COS to the Chairman.
