Adejumoke Aderounmu of Jenifa’s Diary’s Fame Dies at 40

Actress Adejumoke Aderounmu, popularly known for her role as “Esther” in Funke Akindele’s popular TV series Jenifa’s Diary, is dead at 40.

Aderounmu’s death was confirmed by her brother, Adeola Aderounmu, in a post on his Insta stories #xtra_pro_official. He wrote: “You are in a better place now, my sister,” with Aderounmu’s obituary photo.

Also, a user of X, #Oluwabankefunmi, shared her photos in a post on Monday, April 8, saying: "Rest in peace Aderounmu Adejumoke 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊"

She also played the role of  'Adanna' in La Femme Anjola. 

Going through her Instagram account, our correspondent noticed that her last post was on June 23, 2023.

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of her death is unknown.
